Local Seafood Commitment
At S&C, fresh local seafood is not a trend or a marketing phrase. It is one of the core principles that defines who we are. Our commitment begins daily in Wanchese, where we make regular trips to the docks to source the freshest seafood available directly from the boats and local fish houses.
By staying closely connected to the working waterfront and the fishermen who make it possible, we are able to serve seafood that reflects the season, the catch, and the waters surrounding the Outer Banks. This approach allows us to provide a product that is fresher, more sustainable, and deeply rooted in our coastal community.
We believe quality should never be compromised for convenience. If we cannot source seafood that meets our standards and supports our commitment to local freshness, we would rather remove it from the menu entirely than substitute it with something that does not align with our values.
That commitment is one we will continue to stand by because great seafood starts at the source.
The Bar
At S&C, our cocktail program is built the same way we build our menu; intentionally, seasonally, and with a whole lot of personality.
We love cross-utilizing the same fresh seasonal fruits, herbs, and vegetables featured throughout our menu, creating cocktails that feel connected to the overall dining experience while highlighting the best flavors of the season. From bright citrus and berries in the summer to warm spices and garden herbs throughout the year, our bar evolves right alongside our kitchen.
Because we believe great cocktails should come with a story, every drink on our menu is named after one of our employees’ beloved doggies. These pups are part of the S&C family and now part of your experience, too.
The result is a cocktail menu that’s fresh, thoughtful, a little playful, and uniquely S&C.
